My interior heater has only blown air through the windscreen vents this years, which has been fine as it clears the window, however I notice now that the heater is noisy when on the highest setting, sort of like an annoying whistling noise that just makes you want to switch it off.
I'm just wondering what could be wrong that's causing the no air flow through the dash vents and feet vents.
Also, is the noise indicating a failing blower motor, do they usually start to get noisy on their highest setting first when beginning to fail and will it be typical for it to get noisy on the lower settings now soon if its starting to fail.
