Kaymar wheel carrier

g’day everyone

Can anyone tell me the measurement from the tail gate to the outside face of the spare wheel when attached to a kaymar dual wheel carrier, or tail gate to the stud plate.

I’m looking at getting one but not sure if it will fit in the shed

Hi mate my kaymar is quite old so not sure it they will still be the same but mine from the tailgate not the recessed bit is about 17"(432mm) that is with 315/75/16 tyres on it hope that helps

I got 360 mm to the back edge of the rear mounted number plate light.....

There is a 70mm discrepancy with the measurements.

i hit the wrong button on my phone, I was going to say

Good be the larger measurement has a bigger wheel and maybe a off set rim.

I’ll be running 285/75/15 on a standard steel rim

just been out again with straight ruler and stick - turns out I am a blind baffoon......I have 400mm from bottom of upper tailgate to number plate holder. I am running coopers 285/75/16 on standard Toyota Alloys
