Koni shocks going cheap

Thanks for the heads up Dervis, was after some spare ones for the Russia trip.

Did you get them Andy? Same as the spares ive got though i only have the rears.

I had Koni's on my 1st 80, they were adjustable but on the softest setting were firmer than OEM. I changed then to OEM and the ride was restored but for a more loaded truck I guess they would be ideal.

I have EFS ones on the truck at the moment, got these to take on next trip as spares, so IF i (or any of the others on the trip) need to use them, the ride will be the least of my worries!
I think Tom had some temporary Koni ones he paid a fortune for in Morocco when he wrecked his last year, not sure what his ride was like

A bit of insurance really

Yeah €350 for 2 rear second hand shocks was a bit painful but ultimately allowed me to carry on with the trip. I found them really good and comfortable and had them on for a few months after until got my old shocks repaired. Really rated them. Good buy
