Anyone ever used on of these. Seem to be an Australian thing, when I was a
kid our FJ40 came with one, don't remember us ever using it.
Seem a little strange to pump a petrol / air mix into you tires (tyres),
wouldn't it cause the tube to perish?

Hi Malcolm,
If you read the blurb, the device lets the air be sucked through it rather
than from the inlet manifold, this would reduce the ammount of fuel
mixture although I guess you would get some.
An interesting contraption none the less!

Could the compression have operated a pump so no mixture from the cylinder
was pumped through?

Hi Julian,
I cross posted onto a US list, seems they are also available in the US.
Contention is the unit incorporates an diaphragm air pump and uses cylinder
compression air to pump clean air into the tyre.
Sorry not much use for you diesel guys.
