lights warning buzzer

when i turn my lights and engine off, if i keep my foot on the brake the buzzer keeps sounding

i presume for some reason the brake light circuit's operating the lights-on buzzer

any ideas lads?

just noticed another symptom today
when i use the brake pedal the dash clock dims as tho' the headlights are on?
