Evening all
Just to confirm that my car, Japanese spec =8C93, does not have any headlamp
adjustment switch and does not have a dash light dimmer. To the left of the
steering wheel low down, below the aircon controls, I have a 3 position
rocker switch for a fan to blow air into the rear passenger space, moving
left there is a small blanking panel and then to the left is another 2
position rocker switch for =8Csport=B9 and =8Cnormal=B9 shockers adjustment. This
will shortly become redundant as I=B9m replacing the shocks with new Konis to
go with some OME springs.
Lots of decisions made today, such as not having a snorkle fitted as I don=B9t
intend to go swimming in the car and at this stage no LRFT =AD simply cannot
afford it so I will have to go with 10 litre jerries on top... I know what
you=B9re thinking Roman but I just haven=B9t got the dosh right now.
Car away now for a bit... Anyone know a good source of steel rims and BFG
A/Ts? I have several names and numbers but would welcome a recommendation if
anyone has one...?
Thanks for listening...

Jeremy,
If your car is Jap. spec. then you may have some other goodies,
mine has auto-off lights when you turn off the ign. and open the door.
Also an auto for lights to come on when it's dark. When I indicate the
sidelight comes on (front) with increased intensity. The dual range
shocks were not much different from soft to hard, mine are now OME. I
also have fog lights next to the headlights ( I think the European
dual headlight system is better), I don't have a snorkel but you can
probably do Three feet of water without one, extended breathers are
more important.
Regards, Clive.

Hello Jeremy,
If you really need one, I guess the wiring might be there to retrofit
an OEM rheostat, or you could make your own, but I'd think you could
use the blanked space on the dashboard for something more useful :)
Well, I am thinking that the top of the car is the last place to put
jerry cans on... well, maybe one 10L can should be OK ;-)

Sounds like the same as my car. I'm doing the extended breathers and will
clean the air filter regularly. A quick job and means a bit of money saved.

LightsHi Jeremy,
If you know exactly what tyres (size, type and make) you want I can probably give you a good price. But I can only get the delivered to you. You would have to fit them yourself.
All the best,
