Hi All,
when I bought my hdj80 it came without user manual so I'm wandering if
there is a scanned version available somewhere on the Internet.
Regards,
Tomaz
p.s.
I tried google for but no success...

I scanned the "specifications" section of my user manual in and posted
it at http://www.lc80.freeola.net/ It's for a 1996 1HD-FT so it may or
may not be relevant to you.
This gives weights, tyre pressures, oils, fuses etc.
The rest of the user manual tells you have to work the seats, radio,
controls, etc - nothing very interesting although I can scan in some of
it if you can tell me what you are interested in.
Jon has scanned in and posted online the various repair manuals for
chassis, engine, electrical system, brakes, etc. I'll let him reply
with the details - but these are big manuals so it's best if you know
exactly what you are looking for.

Hi Christopher,
thank you very much for the link since mine is exactly 1996 1HD-FT (manual).
I'm looking also for the part related to gears (when you can shift from
low to high, high to low, do you have to stop etc...) I would really
appreciate if you can scan related pages.
Regards,
Tomaz

It's easier to type it. For a manual transmission it says
(paraphrased):
Shifting from H to L: stop, or reduce speed to under 8kph. Take foot
off accelerator, press clutch and shift.
Shifting from L to H: as above, but no stop or minimum speed is
mentioned.
In my experience the gearbox doesn't like H/L shifting at *any* speed,
so I always come to a complete stop. (This is what it says you should
do with auto boxes.)

Also I believe you should shift into neutral whilst going H to L, should
make the shift easier.
I seem to remember that somewhere...
Martin.
