Hi Claire,
I got one on eBay, from Australia for about ?17, can't remember the seller
though, just do a search for Landcruiser, it will probably show up.

Hi Claire
Mine's been cracked for years.
So long as no white light shows through the lens it's fine so far as MOT's
are concerned.

thanks guys, ended up at the dealer and had to shell out =A368 for the whole
thing - you cant just get the plastic its like bubble thing.
teach me to be more careful of trees - plus i think i might fit some light
guards....!! seeen lots of these for 100 series but i will have to try and

Was talking to someone with a Disco that has light guards, they are just
plastic and it probably means if you hit the guard you will have a lens and
a guard to replace.
Of course if they are strong enough to protect the lens from a bump with a
tree but attached to the body it will probably result in damage to the body.

You can get metal light guards that are supposed to help when you reverse into those trees, however as Malcolm says they are more likely to result in more damage and also they tend to stick out and can be easily ripped off (along with the light cluster) if driving close to the undergrowth.
