John,
I can feel a joke coming but I shall resist the temptation, it sound like
one of those April fool stories, you will probably by driving on the right
the day after. When does all this come into effect?

Subject: [ELCO] MPH TO KPH Moan
Hi Guys
Just thought I would let you all know that our wonderful Gov had decided to
replace all the mph limits with kph. That may sound great but all the
vehicles up to now have there speedos in mph We also have a penelty points
system for a wide range of driving offences, can you imagine the problem
now. Its hard enough looking at your speedo every 30 or so seconds to make
sure you have not been speeding but now we will have to look at the mph
then change it to kph aswell. Or we could look at the smaller kph on the
speedo for when you see the signs in kph and then look at the mph on the
speedo for when the signs are in mph. This country can not get the simplest
of things right most of the time, I can not imagine them changing all the
road signs in the whole country and getting it right.
