I've already mentioned on the 80 thread about the new motor but it's now here.
66 plate Hilux invincible X auto. 42k miles.
Had a 3 hour drive home and was a nice drive.
It needs a good clean to my standards, couple of parking dinks to sort and I'll be changing the canopy to a gullwing type. Will be a few other additions along the way.
A few pics for now with the 80

Nice colour, I've had 2 in the past, nice trucks and the drive is good. Do you have leather interior?

Well it hasn't taken long for changes to be made..
I'd been to Toyota for some bits and it came up they had a brand new canopy, cancelled order with gullwings in black. Need the space and can't return it.
Got it less then half price and don't mind it in black

Stripped naked

New one at Toyota

Fitted and think it may stay black, does well against the blue and other black bits

Nice one - got a good deal there I think and the Black works well with the rest of the truck :cool:

Was your truck an ex demonstration model Gary and the blue on black looks good 5FDP now you got a name for your lux

It could have been first owner was a dealer, the person who owned it before me had it to pull a horse box, traded it for a new one.
For obvious reasons didn't want one that was an ex works vehicle or worked hard.

jammy bugger!

i was at my main dealer the other day and they had some of the biggest cardboard boxes i had ever seen.
had to ask what was inside them, they were pick up lids.

Or perhaps a pickup section making it easier to find trayback conversions and the like as well .
