I am off to pick up Stuart Hamilton's 80 on Saturday from north of
Edinburgh ('94 HDJ80 VX + 2.5" HD OME Lift + ARB front bar - without
winch - ready for a Mile Marker).
If any of you want anything transported across the country, or are
around for coffee or something on the route down, do drop me a line or
a text.
After an interlude in the borders dropping in to see Andy Bell, I'll be
heading down the M6.

Julian, let me know when you're likely to be at Stuart's place and I'll
pop up to meet you. It'll also let Stuart see how well the Warn fits my
70 series :)
On a separate topic does *everyone* else on this list have J80s? Am I
the only J70 guy here?

Julian - hope you enjoy the new purchase, good you are soon to be "80
less" no more. Stuart's Hannibal roof rack has definitely been a useful
purchase - I'm releived I beat you to it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The
intercooler pipes you mentioned seem a very good idea - keep us all
posted.

Hi Alan,
Not sure what time I will be up there - probably 11-12ish - Stuart isn't
actually there - moved to France a couple of weeks ago.
If you mail me you mobile number, we could meet for coffee or something.

Hi Gareth,
It has been frustrating, particularly seeing several really good deals
pass me by, but Stuart's is pretty well ideal and also in a nice dark
green which will work well with the mud:)
They seem one of the better ones on the market, but pricey at around ?700
- Stuart suggested talking direct with the manufacturers in SA which I
will try.

Hi Jon,
Personally I think it is the best colour - last one I had was dark
grey, with grey seats and grey interior - very John Major.
Some may call me a car colour racist, but I didn't even bother looking
at adds for red, white or 'pearl' coloured ones.

little [grin] ... so will you let me stay on this list, please ... you car
colour racist!
