I want to introduce myself! I have owned Landcruisers since 2003. First a BJ60, then a BJ70, both now sold for other projects. I restored a BJ42, an HJ61. I still own these 2 LCs. I also have an HDJ100 for 1 year.

Originally, I was more of an off-road lover, but now I am more of an overland lover. I regularly do expeditions and I write articles in the Toyota Trail (of the Toyota Landcruiser Assosiation).

I am very happy to be a member of your forum since the expertise about HDJ100 is rather limited on the forum where I usually go (IH8mud).

Hi David,

I bought my first Land Cruiser, a 97 FJZ 80 about 6 months ago and am looking for a good mechanic in Montreal to service it. In particular the AC doesn't work (a downer considering its 35C outside).

The compressor works, it was recently filled with freon and dont seem to be any leaks but the wiring has been cut to the compressor. Would you know someone familiar with the electrical system?

Thanks
Duncan

Angkor, I really can't help you. Any Toyota Dealer should be able to help you or other reputable garage... I mean, there is no specif science with AC. Bonne chance !
