New Forest area camping

Morning all,
Have to pop over to Salisbury next week so going to camp out with the family for a few nights, looking for information on LC friendly camp sites around the new forest area, any suggestions would be great.
Have called many sites (camping in the forest etc) and they all state I'll need to book 2x pitch's to have a LC and Tent/awning and then telling me there are 500 odd other campers on the site (yikes!).
All we need is a toilet and for it to be Dog friendly

Forget the New Forest at this time of year.....
Try small farm run campsites on the edge of the forest.....
There is a site hidden away at Lymington that may be worth a try.... Hurst View Campsite

Agree with Grimbo. Im from that area, and at this time of year its overrun, more so as not so many venturing abroad this year and going camping, hence the 500 odd other campers on sites you have enquired about.
The small basic sites are definately worth a try, as most want a few more home comforts.
