Btw, on the German BuschTaxi site, they mentioned that in
Asia/Thailand there already was a (locally made!) Hilux-like
successor, the Vigo....doesn't look quite the same though, but it
does have both new engines (2.5L 2KD & 3.0L 1KD):

Odd that there is much more difference in HP than in torque (120 vs
163hp & 320 vs 343Nm)....the wonders of artificially limited torque
on the latter (1400-3200rpm), to spare the drivetrain....
