Newbie with FJ45

Hello Team - My name is Francesco, live in Northamptonshire UK, and have a 1974 FJ45 pickup from S. Africa. It’s been pretty messed about - cab extended, 4cyl diesel engine swapped in for the old straight-six, and lots of new rust since coming to the Midlands. It seems time to fix it up and given it’s no longer original am thinking of finding a more recent straight-six, dropping in better suspension, fixing the electrics etc. I use it as my farm truck so needs to be a daily driver but also a proper 4x4. Apologies in advance but I will be asking for lots of advice!
