Hi Sripad,
There seems to be an unofficial Bordon off-road festival on the 17th of
September.
There is the Hillingdon Off Road Club pay and play day at Slab Common as you
mention, an All Wheel Drive Club drive-round just up the road at Broxhead
Common and a Wessex Hill Runners off road day in aid of Macmillan Cancer
Relief between the two at Hogmoor Enclosure.
You say the Slab Common site is open on Saturday as well - do you have
details of this? It doesn't seem to be on the website.
Maybe see you somewhere in Bordon on that weekend?
If any one else on the list fancies making the trip, these three sites are
all pretty good, Hogmoor and Slab being bigger and arguably better than
Broxhead. Both have lots and lots of sand and plenty of optional mudholes,
steep banks etc..
