Hello all I have just purchased a 1990 75 series. But I need someone who knows the older models. I researched the model it is 5/1990. From what I found they did not come out with the 4.2 turbo diesel nor did they come with the altimeter or angel gauge on the top of the dash. The other thing a bit different is it has a badge on the grill saying Silver Edition now the very few dealers I contacted had no idea. Would anyone here be able to shed some light on this.

1990 – New-generation diesel engines were introduced including a 3.4 L five-cylinder SOHC naturally aspirated motor (1PZ), and a 4.2 L six-cylinder SOHC naturally aspirated motor (1 HZ).

There are 24 versions of the 75, all long wheelbase. Perhaps if you posted the VIN number we could, between us, supply more information.

Thanks for the info guys after doing a searah on the mod plates I found the turbo was fitted to the car along with disc brake front and 2nd fuel tank. Am in the process of finding info for an auto conversion kit.
