Morning all,
With you all being so quiet (Christmas shopping?) I thought I would post an off topic question
In our workshop we have a waste oil boiler to heat the large space and in it there is a baffle that directs the flow from the burners to a heater matrix - the hot air then passes over the baffle and up the chimney.
The baffle is supposed to be removable for clearing ash.
Now the problem is that th baffle made from mild steel is disintegrating - we will have to make up a new one, but would like it to last a little longer.
One thought is to get some sort of asbestos or ceramic tile, cut it to shape and then stick it onto the baffle.
Any one hear with additional suggestions and/or recommendations for a fire proof adhesive?
