I'm looking for an original TTE D-4D Performance Kit for Land Cruiser Prado 2.8D 177 h.p., automatic, 2018. Does anyone know if the one designed for 3.0D 120 Series can be used on my car and if it is still produced?

This is the first Toyota I've bought and I'm still getting used to it. I was surprised by the fuel consumption. Is it supposed to be 13 l/100 for a new car?

Thanks.

I dont think the 2.8 chips would be the same as the 3.0. Different Engine.Safest bet is to get a custom tune done on a dyno. I would imagine though that there would be plenty of chips available for the 2.8.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the info.
Do you know somebody that is using a Lindop kit? Are they happy with it?
Have you heard anything about Bluespark chips?
This is the first brand new car that I've bought that needs more power and speed. Is 13/100 lowest consumption really normal for a diesel Toyota?

Yes i would say that this is a normal consumption for this car. It's a fact that the 150 series consume alot more than the 120 series! :-(

I am using THIS module from Steinbauer on my 2.8 LC (2016).
As far as i know, the modules are specific and can´t be swapped between the 3L and 2.8L LC´s.
But Steinbauer will confirm this if you contact them diectly.

I am averaging 10.8L/100KM, but i am not so gentle on the throttle.
9.5 to 9.9L / 100KM is possible if i drive chilled & calm

Did you manage to find a performance module ??
