Hi,
We have just got back home and have to thank Julian, and other
helpers I am sure, for another enjoyable day out. A day with like
minded people is usually good and today was so. A few more faces put
to names etc. We now look forward to the Summer camp, or whatever, to
get to know people in more depth, if any assistance is needed with the
latter please let me know.
Once again thanks.
Regards, Clive, Glen and Jason.

I had this last time on the plain. Just gave mine a good jet
washing under the bonnet, all went out, and has been fine ever since.

Hi Mark,
Had exactly the same thing happen to me on Sunday - the problem was a lot of
muddy water on the alternator connections. I sprayed the connector at the
back of the alternator with WD40 and the problem soon cleared up.
Ideally what I needed to do was to take the plug on the back of the alternator
off and clean it with some contact cleaner and then re-connect it and then
spray on some light grease to try to keep the moisture out, but didn't because
it was too wet and muddy in the engine bay at the time.

Hi,
We (me & Ray) had a good day thanks, pleasant company and nice weather
for a change. Would be nice to have longer to say hello to people and
talk cruisers so I hope the summer camp works out. In the afternoon my
group wandered across into Hampshire and by the time I got home just
after 9 I'd done over 420 miles so a fair old day trip. It does mean the
big end bearings are near enough run in now though :)
Best regards,
Jon.
