Noticed the drivers aide of the toy was visually lower than the passenger side. Only about 58” measured but it bugged me. I swapped the coils left to right and it didnt help enough. While the springs were out i found the lower isolator was blown out On the drivers side rear. I ordered new isolators from mega zip but after 3 weeks and still no notice of shipment i decided to try a materials on hand fix. I cut a new lower isolator pad from a scrap of Napa mud flap. Warmed it up with a heat gun and used the coil to press and form it into the lower coil seat. Then pull the spring back out again and slid sections of automotive heater hose around the first turn on both ends of the coil. Reinstalled the coil, put the wheels back on, lowered the jack and boom all fixed.
Ill drive it the way it is till I get the real
Oem parts. Or maybe just for science drive the poorboy fix to see if it fails.
