question about front lift on KZJ70

Hi,
I have a KZJ70 with an OME suspension kit fitted which seems to lift the
back fine but the front seems to hang low with or without the weight of the
winch on the front..the kit is really designed to carry a load in the back
which mine does not carry that much weight.
Does anyone know where to get some custom springs to raise the front by an
inch? Or have any suggestions on how to raise the front a little without
really comprising the drive to much, appreciate I may have to caster correct
the arms etc.. but I don't want to really play with the springs mounts and
really don't want to comprise the articulation in the suspension as it is my
off roader mostly, but sometimes get a little overlanding in England and
possibly this year to Europe if I can get myself together...
If anyone has any ideas let me know?
Thanks
Martin.

Martin,
There are choices of OME springs for each vehicle. You could lower the
back or heighten the front. Tthere are also OME spring spacers for balancing
the springs, up to 15mm (I think). Bear in mind that it may sit front high
when you load it up. They look better with the back high than the front.

Hi Clive,
Trouble is cannot remember what size springs I bought... maybe frog island
will be able to tell me as it was a couple of years back now....
Cheers
Martin.

Slee Off road in Colorado have an adjustable front spring spacer.
However the 'spacers' (I have a set) (basically hard type of plastic in
a circle (like a capital "O") that matches the top of the spring under
the mount). Could make your own if you knew what material to use (so
doesn't become 'squished') if trying to get the OME are too expensive.
PS I just had no 96 FZJ80 in a car crash - got side swiped when someone
ran a red light. Quite a bit of damage to the front end.
Waiting to hear if its fixable (insurance) or a write-off (may decide to
buy back and fix it still)
Having a car 12 yrs from new is hard to part with!
