Hey all,
I'm currently swapping my suspension for OME850 (HD) and 864 (superduty)
springs with Nitrochargers. The rear springs are VERY rigid and, as
such, I'm planning on not refitting the rear swaybay. I think someone
on this list said that this would be okay (Roman?) but I just wanted to
check?
Also, does anyone have a good source of Japanese-thread pitch fasteners
they could tell us about? Quite a few of the fasteners under the back
of the Cruiser are quite corroded and I'd like to replace them without
going to Mr Toyota if possible.
Cheers,
Andy

I don't have either anti roll bars fitted on the 94 which has about 5"
of lift on softish springs. It rolls around a bit but it still goes
round the bends :) No problems yet on side slopes, just this weekend
gone it was quite stable still at >35 degrees (my gauge stops at 30 but
we were well past that).
When you say "japanese-thread pitch" I think you just mean metric which
any decent fastener place should be able to supply, I use a place local
to me called Paskins but I don't think they're a national chain.
Best regards,
Jon.

Andy,
I've been driving without the rear stabilizer for over two years now.
BTW, does any one want to buy it, as it's taking space in the shed.
