Well the last few times that I have taken LB out it has always run a bit warmer than normal and on long uphills the temp guage approached the RED unless I slowed down to a crawl.

Today I had a couple of hours to spare so I removed the radiator to examine it............ Let's just say the playing in the mud has not done the rad any favours:

I was concerend that I may need to buy another radiator, but after a good clean with a hose, it's now performing much better. Took me about 40 mins with a gentle hose pressure to get most of the muck out.

Ok it's not in the best of conditions, but will certainly be good enough for a while. Took LB out for a drive and once it had got to normal operating temps, it maintained that without even a slightest movement.

Hardest part of the job...... my hosepipe was frozen

Tony,

I bought a radiator for my VZJ95 from there and had it fitted a few weeks ago - no problems with the fit or finish. Cost was around £90 all inc AFAIR.
