Hi Guys
I may have found a rear tyre carrier but if I put the wheel on the back iI
will need to move the reg plate and it must have working lights to display
the numbers by law over here. Any ideas what to do and how. Is it possible
to get a reg plate holder that would fit in the rear spare wheel with little
lights on it. I dont know I have looked and looked and cant find any. Thanks

Hi John,
Just a thought, but have you considered getting one from a cycle
carrier? I used to have a cycle carrier (bought from Halfords, or
somewhere like that) and it came with a number plate holder (and the
cycles hid the plate), with a little light to light the plate.
You could try a cycle shop or similar?
Cheers - Andy

Take a look at this: http://tinyurl.com/d5wqg
You'll need to fir a new lamp over the plate and run cables to it,
e.g. from the rear cluster lamp.

Hi Roman
Would that be a photo of the rear of your cruiser then. You do not seem to
have a light on the number plate. Is it OK in the UK not to have one then.
Thanks

John,
The picture has no depth so the light built into the bit just above
the number plate cannot be seen.

Hi John,
As the others have intimated, you will probably have to get something made up
(although most that make the tyre carriers tend to do this for you).
One thought is to get one from a scrap yard from the back of a moped or
motorbike and then get a bracket made up to mount it within the spare wheel
like Roman has.
