hello all
80 shopping this weekend again and ive seen a nice on in the midlands and one in
herts..
anyway
what recovery points (if any) does the 80 have.
this is presuming i dont have a towbar on it (but it will do)
and if none what options do i have to fit them, both front and rear
thanks

Dyfed,
When I got mine it had two on the front and one on the back, soon
changed to two on the back. They are a curved shape that looks as if
it is designed to straighten rather than break. I now have a winch
bumper that has them built in.
Regards, Clive.

hi clive
are they std on vehicles or do you think they are aftermarket bits?
ah well until i can afford a winch bumper i will have to make do ;)
hard enough to convince the wife that this is the better motor than the disco.
until she sat in it then was convinced
says its like a car inside not a 4x4!
dont know how to take that, complement or insult!
:)

As far as I can guess they are standars. The guy I bought it off
imported it and he would not have bothered with recovery points.
Of course it's better than a Discovery. Not that I am in to this
"my cars better than yours" game. It's probably better than a Range
Rover, and I've had one of those.
