Remove tail light from tail gate

Hi all,
I dinted my tail gate and have found a replacement, which I am trying to swap over.
Having troubles removing the light from the dinted tail gate.
Have undone the two screws, and am trying to lever it out, but something seems to be holding the light unit in.
any ideas what I am missing ?

It was the three pins that I needed to be aware of.
