Replacing Handbrake Cable HZJ79R

Anyone replaced the handbrake cable?
I know the handbrake is above the main fuel tank and wanted to know if its easy access or do I strip out the interior and fuel tank?

You don't have to strip out the tank or interior, just the handbrake lever gaiter to undo the 10mm tensioning nut and the cable anchor.
