Hi guys ,
been in the group for a while but this is my first thread .
My son has been lucky enough to get his hands on and old RFS 1987 Troopy and we've been fixing it up mechanically for a bit under a year.
Its a bit more advanced than this photo, but I'd thought I'd post it anyway.
We've got to the stage where we need to cut out the rust in a few spots and but the A -Pillars are pretty shot .
Can somebody please give me some advice on this - is it best to try and track down some A pillars in decent condition and do a full cut out and re-weld ?
They seem to be pretty hard to come by.
Would we only be limited to getting A pillars form another 87 Troopy or would other year models suit??
Hope to get some help soon.
Thanks guys
