What is next in this sequence: JFMAMJJASON_ ?

Not exactly a riddle but I'll bet you £8741806969475958096 that you didn't actually read that whole number, so I'm guessing you didn't see the letter in it  You just went back and checked and saw that I lied  Hahahaha Gotcha. :laughing-rolling:

u n d _ _ _ _ _ u n d

What letters are missing to form a word (in English)?

I know this, but don't want to spoil it on the first post

Not really a riddle, more a maths phenomenon.

Take any 3 digit number where the first is greater than the second, and the second greater than the last, 742 for example.

Then reverse it and subtract it from the original number.

Then reverse the answer and add it.

The final answer is always the same.

It even works if you use algebra as your staring number such as xyz, you always get 1089 as the answer.

I got 495, where did I go wrong?
921
-129
=792
-297
=495

I don't think that can work Clive. If you take any 3 digit number and make subtractions from it you can't finish up with a 4 digit number (i.e. a bigger number). e.g.
654
-456
=198
-891
= -693

Must have misdescribed it. On the second reversal you add them, not subtract. I'll edit the original now to clarify, sorry

That's better:
654
-456
=198
+891
=1089

Good one Clive
