One of the bits of work I do is working with AgTech start ups, so I love pointing out how forward thinking farmers are from a tinkering point of view... Amazing how many of their tinkering ideas spread in an area and become a real business.
On the other hand, I also end up going to a fair few tractor pulls where some mates compete - their 13 year old lad does quite well by all accounts with some of their old tractors... he's also pretty hand driving the Land Cruiser or 9 ton truck...
