Thought I might share a couple of pics from a friend of mine who was offroading in Georgia recently. Details are a little sketchy, but was a group travelling from Russia in August and the route they were on was a little dangerous. Anyway a large rock landed on the bonnet of one of the 80s. Bit of a Sliding Doors moment. Nobody was injured.

Lucky escape for the occupants, I was almost hit by a rock in the High Atlas last year, very alarming

Bloody 'ell, that won't buff out in a hurry.

What a damn shame, glad nobody was hurt.

We see these signs all the time here and on some roads there's fresh rock debris as a reminder.

The Transfagarasan is notorious for large cruiser-sized rocks coming down, but I've never seen anyone get hit.
