My cruiser is doing just fine - I anticipated it complaining yesterday
morning but no, good as its ever been (if you can call it this). No
missing bits, no problems, no worries. So am quite happy about it and
the plains.
On Thursday this week it is going to the garage to have the CVJs and
exhaust section replaced.
I already have a LRFT (as you may have guessed, bearing in mind what I
like doing best - sand) but I was interested also in your rear wheel
(double) carrier and your I assume, GPS/Radar/Comms on the dash. I'm
thinking of having the roofrack replaced at some point before I next get
back to the Sahara, yours looks very functional and strong. And of
course the wheels and tyres in the Spring.
How's your Cruiser? No radiator or lamp problems?

Hello Renate,
I am not sure which mods may be described as Desert DesRes -
certainly the tyre beadlock system (
http://www.secondair.com/ ), air
compressor (
http://www.onboardair.com/ ), a 170L extra fuel tank (
http://www.4wdworld.com.au/products/longranger/index.htm ), the rear
bumper with brackets for two spare wheels (
http://www.kaymar.com.au/toy80.html ), the fridge is from Minus40 (
http://www.minus40.co.za ).. Other bits and pices came from a variety
of sources , usually a mixture of local suppliers, the rest I built
myself, like the roofrack, or the dogguard.
How is your cruiser doing after the trip to the Plains?
