Hi Guys
Just wondering what is termed as (run in) when talking about the bedding in
period that an engine goes through when new.
How do people know how long it takes various engines to be run in and what
exactly happens.
If an engine is run in wrongly what happens to it.
Are new vehicles now a days run in before you buy them.
I have seen guys at the ports who load the ferries with the new cars really
ripping and they would be cold engines.
Is there a guide line like the bigger the engine the longer it takes and is
there a difference between petrol /diesel.
cheers
