Hi one of my rear license bulb is blown, when I tried to change the bulb both screws holding the bulb have rusted away. One I can’t even see the positive cross at the screw head.
What is the best thing to do? Just drill it out? And anyone knows what size screw to replace these with?
The adjacent bulb screws are in a similarly bad situation.

If these are the lower bumper lights we all end up replacing them in the end and if your doing it only because you can't get the bulb out consider yourself lucky because sooner or later the rust causes all sorts of magical mystery frustratingly irrational electrickery !

Get genuine , there are cheaper ones out there but its false economy my cheap ones never fit properly and lasted only a year before they started blowing fuses so i replaced them with these https://www.roughtrax4x4.com/genuine-toyota-right-hand-rear-bumper-light-90-series.html

Ah number plate bulbs doh i'm half asleep .

They are tiny screws i drilled the head off removed the holder then unscrewed the rest with pliers if i remember correctly .

Thanks, haven’t looked at my rear light cluster screws yet, will try and get the license bulb ones out first. Found a 4runner website mentioned M4 14mm with 1.46 pitch. Can’t find them on most uk websites, closest pitch are those from self tapping screws.

anyone know where to find a 1.46 pitch? Most M4 are 0.7 pitch...
