Salisbury Plain Meeting - Sunday 5th December

OK, I think we should now finalise plans for the 5th of December, which
most of you can come to.
So far the list of owners coming is as follows:
Me
Jon Wildsmith
Christopher Bell
Clive Marks
Gareth Jones
Dennis Lamminga
Paul Mills (guide)
Renate Haupt
Rob Edwards
Roman Gozdzikowski (possible)
The only problems you are likely to encounter on the tracks is going to
be mud so make sure you bring wellies and wet weather gear.
There will also possibly a mud pit for the more adventurous of you.
I will liaise with Paul Mills to finalise a meeting point and somewhere
for lunch.
Ideally we want to start around 9.30-10 to give time for coffee meeting
each other before moving off.
If you aren't already a member of the ELCO mailing list, please could
you join via the website at http://www.landcruisers.info/lists/.
If you are planning future modifications to you LC and want to know
more about particular areas, drop me a line off list and on the day I
will try to make sure you get to talk to people coming that have
already been down that route.
If you know of any other LandCruiser owners that might be interested in
coming along, drop me a line off list

Good news:
I've e-mailed Jeff Watts, web-site
<http://www.gonewandering.co.uk/what%20vehicle.htm> and he might be able to
make the 5th of December.
If he can make it, he'll be a great insight into overland travel, as they've
recently completed London to Cape Town in a TLC80.
All, his website provides knowledgeable info regarding kitting out a cruiser
for overland travel.
Julian, I'll get Jeff to e-mail you once he returns from Slovakia.
