Seat covers

Slightly dull Saturday morning question as I recover from a christmas bash
last night...
Anyone know a good source of practical, washable, hard-wearing and not-
sweaty-in-hot-climates seat covers for a Landcruiser, circa 93-94...
I know I could probably make them or ask nbicely and have them made but...

I don't know if you saw mine last w/e. I ordered them from a UK maker about 3 years ago, in heavyweight dark green nylon (or Terylene, or something similar), and they are tailored for the landcruiser. I can probably dig out the contact details if you are interested.
They have proved remarkably child & dog proof, and cost ?135 for all three rows. I think it was about ?90 for the first two rows only. You can get lightweight ones but I think they are a waste of money.
When I lived in Egypt we found the best solution to the "hot sun + seat = burned bum" syndrome was a fluffy towel thrown over the seat. Also absorbs sweat, is easy to wash and can be used to shoosh out flies.

Wasn't there last I'm afraid Chris as I was working. If you find the details
I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Have a look on the web for a company called Hatchback (could be
www.hatchbag.co.uk - they do fitted seat covers for the LC in various
materials - they used to be very good company, but am still chasing an
order for part of a boot liner from a couple of months ago - worth
persevering for the seat covers - mention my name if you talk to them -
it might gee them up a bit.
