John,
Don't know of any (and sheep :) but see guys on 80sool and i8hmud talking
about them. Check there and see.
If u need me to talk to any US crowd let me know but no plans for IRL visit
(regd. cheap transport) for moment!
PS I'm on my 2nd custom made version (by my good lady) and these have extra
Scotchguard to help with kid drink spills etc. and this time they all are
the same pattern/color :)

Subject: [ELCO] seat covers
Hi Lal
I have been thinking of seat covers to brighten up the cruiser a bit now
that the idea of new wheels is nearly gone out of my head. I seen some nice
wheels but they dont deliver to europe just my luck. Any way before I start
going on again, I was wondering if you know of any sheep skin seat cover
guys over there that would be good and reasonable. I have done my searches
and a lot seem to be in the states. I think some thing to do with being a
rich country. Would you believe I cant find one place here that does good
covers.

Hi Lal
Thanks for the reply so soon, I know what you mean about second set of
covers. Mine are wearing , not to bad but will get worse as usual. Kids, I
have this 9 year old who still feels if he gets half of what he should in
his mouth he is doing well. We have all agreed that seat covers would be
good but when I think of seat covers I think of those stupid covers that
never fit, go flat and look crap. The sheep skin seems to be the best and my
little guy has said if we do he will be a lot more careful. Its hard to
resist his big googly eyes, as he keeps repeating the line from Father Ted
go on, go on, go on., you know you want to. I might like them aswell but
they will be for him.

I have the water/bomb proof fitted seat covers from
http://www.hatchbag.co.uk - they aren't cheap for a full set, but are a
very snug fit and work very well with small children, dogs, etc.
I had a set on my last 80 and they did an excellent job of protecting
the leather seats.
I personally wouldn't go for sheepskin because they would wear too
much, and I don't think I could stand the embarrassment of having the
compulsory furry dice that normally go with them!

PS All the recent lighting posts have left me a little puzzled. I'm going to
leave my lights well alone for the moment until I have the time to get to
grips with it all. Can't say electrics are my forte. My answer has been tp
whack a couple of IPF spots on the front bars, with clear covers so that I
don't have to get in and out every time I want to use them. Should be bright
enough for my needs, and fingers crossed that nothing happens to the main
headlamps in the meantime...
