here in Norway is almost the same( =A3 88.685) but to be honest they
never charge you a minute more....
as for the BEBs they don't want to do it-they want to overhaul the
whole camshaft etc... about 18 hours of labour....

I think it might be standard practice to offer the short blocks to you when
ask them about the BEBs. When my BEB went this is what they offered me. Why
I dont know and could not guess other than it might be easier for them to do
and also they might make a bit more money in the end.
I asked my Toy garage the same question and they said they would do it no
problem if I wanted it done.
They also looked very amused at the thought of getting them done at 100,000
from the last set But this I will do as i dont have the nerves now or heart
to pay again if they fail.
Id check again with them and tell them you dont want a block just to renew
the BEBs if that is what you want.
If they cant do it they will know who can.
