[SPAM][BL] Red Top battery Optima

Hi all,
I put two red tops and a yellow top in two years ago. The red tops
still seem to be going strong (after maybe 25 or 30K miles) but the
yellow top died a couple of weeks ago.
I was very disappointed with the yellow top, but it did have a
continual current drain as I used to leave my TomTom permanently
plugged in so I didn't have to wait for it to boot and find
satellites.

Hi all,
I have two yellow tops. One of them was replaced while still under
warranty, the other one is still plodding on. When they both expire,
which is likely to be sooner than later, considering the bad
reputation they have due to poor reliability, I am wondering what I am
going to replace them with? They are expensive, but not as much as
some other gel/AMG brands of deep cycle performance batteries.
Any thoughts?

I replaced my batteries with Bosch and I am a very happy camper! We drove on very bad roads (Marsibit road in Kenya)=2C high altitude in Ethiopia (I am talking 3 400m or 11 000 feet)=2C with temperatures going as high as 45 degrees and then dropping to close to zero. No problem! and they are cheaper!
