Hi Guys
I may have found a new starter for my cruiser but am unsure about whether it
will fit. Go on say it, now theres a surprise coming from John. Anyway the
starter is a 24v so thats good and its a Denso, the number on it is
28100-17020 and 128000-8621 what these mean well you know what I was going
to say. So if anyone has an idea if it will do that would be great. A while
ago Roman told me to get a second starter and explore it to see what makes
it tick so maybe I will do just that and have a spareto boot.

Hi John,
Congrats, that is the part number for the starter for your car -
suitable for HDJ80s from 01/90-08/92.

I can never be too careful really when you concider the other torment in my
life at the moment that should go at the rear of the cruiser and no its not
the wife but she does come close at times.

Hi Julian
Are you telling me that they change the starter again after that point,
whats the difference, are the later ones better.
Thanks

Hi John,
I really can't tell from the EPC, it just provides production dates.
I would run with what you have got - the starters are generally pretty
good.
