Many moons ago i had an industrial spec LC 80 in Ukraine.
It was fitted with 16" steel wheels that would have been standard fit and were bomb proof, they were the type where the valve seemed to be just behind the centre dish and was well protected. The bonehead at my local dealer has stopped talking to me as "I always give him a headache" (direct quote)
So the questions are:
Can i still get them and what is the part number?
Will they take the bigger tyres?
Is the offset correct as the rim seems to be set closer to the vehicle on the dish?

From the main steelers for about £80 per wheel. Mark on the other forum has 35/12.5/16s fitted to a set. Yes they are the right offset and are 8" wide.

any idea how much more they weigh compared with the standard 16" alloy? I have seem one and i seemed so well built that you would probably deal serious damage to you suspension before it gave way

An OEM steel wheel alone weighs about as much as an alloy with a 36" Simex mounted, using my arm scales :) 25kg maybe? An OEM steel wheel with a 36" Simex mounted is extremely heavy!

All 2nd hand info.

OEM part number is T42601-80361

Moses has 305/70/16 with these wheels.
