I have read all of this stuff a few years ago. In the UK the tax
on veggi diesel is the same as mineral diesel. So the legal savings
are minimal. This was based on the results in a paper after a
government study. The interesting thing about this paper is that it
was never written, so there's another informed government decision.

The duty on veggie is much lower than mineral, not as low as it should
be though. How much you save also depends on the cost of the oil.

Hi Guys
I went down to the store and the veg oil is the same price as the diesel so
scrap that idea.
