Hi John,
I have no idea - the references to leaking I have come across relate mainly to
engines, but assume the same for auto boxes. I guess that I you have no leaks
at all you should be OK, but if you have some minor weeping along seals these
may change to leaks with full synthetic.
I would take most of them with a pinch of salt unless you actually know of
someone that has fitted them and have had success/improvements.
The theory is pretty good and there was a thread a while ago about people
taking the cyclone from the air box and fitting it in the main filter box when
fitting a snorkel and getting a noticeable improvement - the advantage of that
one is that it is free.
