That is the claim - I have a set of 100 pads waiting to go into mine.
The main downside is the cost.
On the plus side you usually get around a 20-30% increase in power and torque
and some improvement in fuel consumption, although it will depend on how much
you use the extra power
To compliment the intercooler you should also look to replace the stock
exhaust with a 2.5-3" replacement - the stock exhaust is very restrictive..
What kit are you looking at for ?800? Do you have any details.
