I have not come across padding, but I know on some agricultural kit you
can get like sticky backed sand paper that you could stick on it.

I know u can buy 3M stuff at the hardware stores. Sitcky on one side and
hard 'tackiness' on the other. I had it on my DIY slider/running boards. It
provides a good grip as long as u're not a woman in a shirt and slid your
bare leg down on the slider as u get out !
I can ship u some from over here if u can't find it locally.

Hi Guys
Good morning to you all, no snow today Matt. Does any one know where it is
possible to get some padding for the side steps for the cruiser. I keep
saying I will get some every time that I slip either getting in or out of
the cruiser when it is frosty or when we have a blizzard. I found a site in
America that does them in 6 foot by 4 inches perfect for the job, but they
will not deliver to Ireland.
