Tembo electric 70 series

Makes sense in an enclosed mine enviroment. Motor torque is much less than a 1HD-FT engine. No idea what torque a diesel version delivers at the wheels but I should imagine its higher. Wonder how much they are?

Too early to work it out with gear ratios etc, (brain fade), but I suppose the advantage is that the torque is there as soon as the motor is turning with the electric.

Lots of talk in the US about hybrid Tundras at the moment.

Mines and Quarries...Couldnt get a better proving/testing Environment... Those lads will have no mechanical sympathy.... Will test how long the Battery really lasts....
