The eye can easily deceive the brain....can you see ;)

ADMIN EDIT (JW): Not family safe either

You are right! That screen is not properly secured and those chairs are not load tested. The very idea! And, she is not wearing the correct hi viz jacket.

I may have to lend her my helmet!

Chris

You are right. the eye can easily deceive the brain, 'cos it looks nothing like a Landcruiser to me

PM required please Bat21 ;-)

I want to know what's in store for Chris's helmet...

Why not Jon? there was nothing in the post that you wouldn't see on page 3.

I do hope we don't end up like the 'other place'... I thought we were more liberal here?

Page 3 isn't put up on computer monitors around peoples houses and you know broadly what you'll see when you turn to page 3. I agree it's quite soft as it goes but I still don't think it belongs on here amusing as it is for adults. If the other mods think it's ok then it can be re-instated and I will know better next time.

Jon, the NWS (not safe for work) link was there for a reason but, how anyone can regard the image as 'soft porn' is beyond me.

If the image offended you, it should have been changed to a clickable link, that way the folk here could have made their own decision instead of being denied the option by what may be construed as heavy handed modding.

I think Jon's point is correct, the image didn't offend me  , far from it  , but I think this club is more about chassis's of the mechanical type.

It was posted in the Lounge:-
Chinwag - anything and everything goes. So long as it's above board.
Or can we only talk chassis, gearboxes and 'what oil' in there too

The whole place will become very insular and dull if this is how it is going to be.

**NWS** (not work safe) is not something I've seen before Paul so it doesn't warn me to expect that content and I suspect that means the same for others. If you had posted it as a clickable link with a clearer warning then I wouldn't have moderated it. I moderate as little as possible i.e. delete the offending part and document it, I don't want to start changing content.

I personnally enjoyed the experience but maybe a clickable link as mentioned above is the future for items such as this. My kids are just getting to internet age & I'm terrified what they are going to find when they get going despite what settings I impose on their logons.

I used to teach IT to adults in the evenings & on Saturday mornings (with right minging hangovers sometimes... ) & as an extra after doing our course stuff, we'd occassionally go for a surf on the web to expand our IT horizons.

One of the ladies (Ruth IIRC) was a lovely lady who was into arty stuff so she typed in 'parchment paper' on the search engine... Loh & behold, 6th link in the list was a link to some bonkers porn site!!! WTF!!! Am I doing it wrong like always???

Slightly OT, how do you do that 'clickable link' thing? I only know how to post the pic from photobucket... Worra luddite I is

Like this ;)
**Warning** the above link is to an image that may offend some people but, to others it is art.

I don't see any problem with that. For the record, I would rather moderate and risk offending 1 person than leave something and risk offending more people (in the short term). If my judgement then is seen as flawed I only have one appology to make  and the content can be restored. The real difference on this forum is there are other admins to apeal to and if most people were telling me not to be such a prude you would get your appology and restored content ;)

Can't complain at any of that Jon - crack on & keep it up :)

Ref the clickable link, splendid, works a treat but its a bit light on the explanation front Paul ;)

Click on the 'Quote' button below my post that contains the link Gav... you will then see how the link is 'constructed'

I'm so glad you put a warning on that Gav, posting an erect balloon on here might have upset someone

Cheers Cris - a lot of huff & puff went into that!!! It was one of dad's christmas pressies last year - one of those animal balloon kits... Blowing those badboys up alone is a skill, let alone creating masterful & monumental milinery monstrosities like that ;-)
