Beautiful workmanship

That is a really nice job, just perfect. You must be very pleased.

Its so nice to see a Craftsman at work.

Many, many years ago a colleague and I were walking up the road one lunchtime and passed a construction site. The old cinema had been knocked down and an 'Iceland' store was being built - there was an enormous plain brick wall going up.

We both stopped and went "Wow" - that brickwork was stunning, absolutely perfect, the Brickie was a Craftsman.

It shows and is appreciated by those who dabble in these sort of crafts but never develop proper skills.

Nice to see it.

Bob.

You should be very proud of that JM, it’s simply beautiful.

It’s all pretty much been said already, but its lovely to see that level of craftsmanship is still alive in this B&Q type world we all live in.

.... d’ya fancy making us a new kitchen?....

I’ll see myself out, thanks

Thanks all, the thing is I am not far off 70 now and I won’t be doing this for that much longer
I would like to pass on some of my skills/knowledge to a youngster whose keen to learn
There’s none about, their glued to their phones and just want the money, I’ve had them in my workshop and to be honest there a liability and don’t concentrate, not a place to be with highly dangerous machines as I well know, it’s a shame but I will take my knowledge with me when I curl my toes up.
Gooolboy the wood is Merranti, it’s a mahogany

I didn-t know you could still get it.

It’s Brazilian mahogany you can’t get, well you can at a real premium from specialists or someone who has old stock
