Hello Reno,
Have you looked up any of the French Landcruiser mags? There should be
a few specialist companies in N/E France. I know of at least one - in
Metz: http://www.star4x4.fr/
If you speak to them, give my regards to Jean Jaques.

Hi Reno
Have you tried to buy them in bulk from MR Toyota, thats what i do and I get 12% off if I buy 10. I think it has been said that you can always buy cheaper but at what cost.
Toyota filters are suppossed to be one of the best. Ask yourself a question ,does the cruiser deserve the best and you piece of mind in the process.
I think enough things to worry about without adding, (is the cheapy filter up to the job).
cheers

I can't imagine paying that much for an oil filter.
Usually I buy Mann at my local car parts dealership.
First maintenance on my HDJ80 set me back 45 Euro for air, oil and fuel filter.
I ordered Mann 2 oilfilter Bmw, 2 fuel filters bmw, 1 air-filter bmw, 2 oilfilers Merc, 2 fuel filters with pre-filter merc,
1 air-filter Merc and only paid 160 Euro for the lot.
At my local Toy dealership I get a nice discount on every spare part I buy.
Costly those French Toy dealers.

The recent coup de grace was 24 Euros for an oil filter. That's thrice the price of a very good aftermarket filter such as Mann or Hastings. And five times the price of a cheap aftermarket filter such as Fram or house brand. Looking to buy a few periodic maintenance items for the HDJ80 soon, I'm a tad disabused, as it were.
So I wonder if you UK/EU lads (plus Renate) have any good sources from which I can mail/internet order Toy filters, and hopefully even hard Toy parts such as sway bar bushings, grommets and other rubber parts (hard parts is what we say in the US for parts typically available only at the official Toy dealer). I'd ask Maarten, but I've lost his email addy.
I'll give you a kiss for any good leads. 'Dat said, I'm 120 kilos, 2 meters, ugly as sin, I stink like a goat and I'm and hairy all over, but if you want the kiss I'll deliver on my promise. Just bring flowers.
